Why do we have a neighborhood bulletin board? (you might ask)

We have a neighborhood Email List, why do we need a Bulletin Board and why go through all the trouble of using it?

If there is an urgent question or timely need, then email certainly is a good solution. Lost a cat or dog? Recent crime? Party next week? Email is often the answer.

Of course, if you weren't paying attention when the email zipped past your inbox, you might have missed it. Did you save it to read later? Do you remember where you put it? Were you even a member of the email list when the email went by?

I know my inbox is full of stuff that maybe I'll need again. Of course I always have trouble finding it.

Which brings us to the neighborhood Bulletin Board.

Do you have a question and the answer may be worthwhile for a "long time". Do you have some information to share that people might need someday?

Then please consider making use of the neighborhood Bulletin Board.

Yes, you must register to use the Bulletin Board. This is to prevent spammers from posting inappropriate material. Did you forget your password? The software will email it to you.

Knowing people are reluctant to use the Bulletin Board, I hope this helps. Questions? Please feel free to ask.

Sincerely,
Scott Ewing
