I live at 2305 W. Rosedale So. and have had a ongoing problem with cars and 18 wheelers parking on W. Rosedale at Mr. Jakes blocking entrance to my driveway.
Can we have a road barrier put across W. Rosedale So. from my property line (East) across the street blocking entrance from Forest Park Blvd. to W. Rosedale So?
This would keep traffic from entering our neighborhood from the Mr. Jakes store. This would not limit access to Mr. Jakes since the barrier would be one house down (West) from Forest Park Blvd on W. Rosedale SO.
When the big delivery trucks pull along side Mr. Jakes for delivery they go down into our neighborhood, west down W. Rosedale SO, to get back on Forest Park Blvd.
This would stop all traffic form entering Mistletoe Heights using W. Rosedale SO.
It would not be a problem for me to pull out of my driveway and go through the neighborhood (West) to get on Forest Park to eliminate all of this traffic from our neighborhood.
About ten plus years ago I was approached by Mistletoe Heights Assoc. about this same idea except they wanted the barrier placed further down the street west of my house. Speed bumps were installed instead.
This would not affect entry for the corner house east of me because their driveway entrance is on Forest Park Blvd.
At the very least we should change the two hour parking limit to "No Parking or Stopping Anytime"!
